The History of RevMentor

2011: The Founder, Florence Gautier, joins the Revenue Management team of the Majestic Barrière 5* and Gray d'Albion 4* hotels in Cannes.

The hotels of the Lucien Barrière Group are then in full transition towards Dynamic Pricing.

 

2013: She joined the Carlson Group, within the Radisson Blu.

Competitive intelligence tools, RMS, are beginning to establish themselves firmly in the sector.

 

2014: She is now part of the RM team at the 5* Atlantis The Palm hotel in Dubai, where she helps manage the resort's 1,500 rooms.

It was at this time that she came into contact with Total Revenue. The management of the various points of sale such as catering, seminar rooms and the water park were integrated into the overall revenue optimization strategy.

 

2016: She joined a consulting firm and managed a portfolio of hotels located mainly in France, Switzerland and Italy.

This represents €50 million in turnover which is optimized each year in an increasingly unstable and competitive market.

 

2023: Creation of RevMentor, whose mission is focused on the transmission of skills and increasing the financial performance of hotels throughout France, Corsica and the Middle East.

Today, it is already €32M in turnover managed and nearly 85 hoteliers trained in Yield Management techniques.

Intervention at the Vatel School in Lyon, in the Revenue Management specialty for the Master’s 2 program.
